Krótki opis

Klub instrumentów dętych liceum Kitauji przeżywał swoje wzloty i upadki. Dawnymi czasami przodował w krajowych zawodach, ale ostatnio nie udało mu się odnieść większych sukcesów. Na poprawę takiego stanu rzeczy liczy opiekun klubu wytrwale wspierający podopiecznych w ich grze. Tymczasem do grupy planuje dołączyć główna bohaterka, Kumiko Oumae, grająca na tytułowym eufonium. Towarzyszą jej Hazuki Katou odpowiedzialna za tubę, kontrabasistka Sapphire Kawashima i trębaczka Reina Kousaka.
